MAYF ACADEMY
ABOUT THE ACADEMY | MAYF Academy is a K–8 community-centered school in Burien, WA, committed to providing a high-quality, nurturing, and inclusive education where every student is known, supported, and empowered to succeed. As part of the Muslim American Youth Foundation (MAYF), the Academy brings together academic learning, character development, faith, culture, and community to help students grow into confident, compassionate, and responsible young people.
MAYF Academy serves a diverse community of students and families, including immigrant and refugee families and children from diverse backgrounds. MAYF Academy recognizes that students bring unique cultures, languages, experiences, strengths, and learning aspirations to the classroom. The Academy’s approach values these identities while creating a welcoming environment where students can learn, build meaningful relationships, and thrive.
