A BIG Jazaka Allah Khair to all of you!

We would like to first thank everyone who participated in our Sept 12 Online Fundraiser. Alhamdulillah, we are happy to share we raised $285,000 (65k Cash/219k Pledges). Donations are still open - so please do contribute if you missed the fundraiser on September 12, 2020. In total, we have $544,618 as of Sept 13th, and have $405,382 remaining of the total $950,000 needed for the Downpayment to acquire the property. There are a lot of outstanding pledges remaining from our fundraiser, and we ask everyone to fulfill their pledges, share and help us reach our goal for the downpayment. Jazaka Allah Khair. That being said, below is our message to all of you who partook in this immense khair:

“By the grace of Allah [‏سبحانه وتعالى] our online fundraiser for MAYF & Masjid Tawhid re-establishment was a success.

في الحديث الصحيح: "‏لا يشكر الله من لا يشكر الناس‏"‏

In an authentic Hadith the messenger PBUH said: ❝He who does not thank the people is not thankful to Allah❞

On behalf of MAYF and Masjid Tawhid, we would like to sincerely thank every single individual who took part and made it possible for this fundraiser to be successfully conducted.

We would also like to thank from the bottom of our hearts our generous donors, our community here in the state of Washington, around the states and from around the globe, after the permission of Allah [‏سبحانه وتعالى], it is your generosity that enabled us to successfully raise over $285,000 last night which included both cash and pledges. Although it was short of our intended target, we still have a long way to go inshallah, and we know it will be through the continuous generosity of our community that will turn our dream into a prosperous reality by the will of Allah.
